High Street Textile Testing Services (HSTTS) Broadens Its Testing Offer
Posted by: High Street Textile Testing Services 22 March 2013
High Street Textile Testing Services (HSTTS) has recently achieved UKAS accreditation for a range of colour related services.
These include measurement of chromaticity of high visibility fabrics to EN 471 and EN1150, and general colour measurement services (BS EN ISO 105-J03 and BS 8475). It follows the purchase of two new portable colour spectrophotometers
HSTTS has also invested in equipment for the measurement of Solar UV protection (UPF) to BS EN 13758-1, which is covered too by its extended UKAS accreditation.
The colour measurement services will be run by Alan Ross, Consultant Technologist and a Chartered Colourist with over 20 years’ experience of colour measurement of textiles. For more information contact Alan Ross ( or telephone 0113 2488830).
